Nokia Messaging – Now v1.1 Released!

This is NO April’s Fool joke here people – its OFFICIAL!

Nokia has finally decided to release the long awaited Nokia Messaging v1.1 – supporting 10 Emails accounts (same as before), Sign up with your Windows Live TM Hotmail® email address (FINALLY),  supports 4 MORE devices, 23 Languages, and FINALLY, FINALLY supports HTML Email.

So time to get your freak on and goto Nokia Messaging Home and upgrade to this new version.

The following devices are supported.

Nokia N-Series:
N73
N78
N79
N82
N85
N95
N95-8GB
N96

Nokia E-Series:
E51
E61
E61i
E63
E66
E71
E75
E90

And Nokia 5320 XM, 6210 Navigator, and the 6220 Classic are ALL supported.

Now we await Nokia Messaging to go back to its roots (Nokia IntelliSync) and support Corporate Exchange emails … a la MfE integration.

Hackers … unit and find a way to bring back Gmail/YMail folder tag support, and Calendar & Contacts sync.

    any idea about the pricing plan.
    and what about the online space.
    usually i am on mailforexchange for £5/month and get 25 mb space.
    html still not supported.

      No word yet on the pricing of Nokia Messaging outside of your carriers’ standard data plan.
      If it follows suit with current launches it will be close to $5-10US/mth to use it exclusively outside a data plan; and I’ll wager for most large populace countries where 3G is in place and ubiquitos, that it’ll be free with your current mid/top-tier smartphone data pkg.

      Large attachments if downloaded and viewed can easily take you above that 25MB/mth … not mb – megabits. Yes you can set whether or not the full email is downloaded and set the limits on attachment size as well.
