Update – Themed BlackBerry 10 Devices …

Hi Everyone, 

Here is an update to my post last week about Themed BlackBerry BB10 Devices – Open Letter. Only a few of you even bothered to view the post – 10 this week, 2 on the same day, and nobody on the weekend. I’m ashamed not of you, definitely not of those affected by Breast Cancer or Aids, but of myself in presenting it. 

These are very sensitive issues that affect everyone, in some way or directly, because it hurts us … it takes our loved ones away, it makes us cringe and our hairs on our arms and neck stand-up … because it causes fear in all of us! It reminds us we’re not invincible and that we cannot take on anything that hits us, any challenge we face … or CAN WE?!

YES we CAN! 

I’ve made the request via email to BlackBerry Suggestions email, to Thorstein Heins (I hope it is him; not the fake one) over Twitter, and also to Donny H over twitter – he’s one of the BlackBerry evangelists employed by BlackBerry (even when it was called RIM) over Twitter and on Inside BlackBerry – not an easy job. I’ve asked that they can take a moment to read this particular post on my blog and forward the blog entry but most importantly the idea to Thorstein or to the marketing management to see if this can be done. 

I’ve not received any feedback at all. I’m not good at social networking nor influencing people over social networks or in real person – its not in my nature … I don’t care! I’m making the effort! I implore the humanity in many of you to take just 5 minutes of your time, not even that much to just retweet this post, ask BlackBerry fans to do the same and retweet for BlackBerry to create themed BB Z10’s and Q10’s for a great cause – it can benefit BlackBerry as a corporation with good will and huge tax breaks as well. 

But the key is that it can help towards research and help us closer to a cure for both, maybe not in our life times, but maybe your your daughter, your son, your cousin, your brother or sister in law, maybe even your mother! Is that not worth less than 5 minutes of your time?! Is that not worth 500KB of data on your smartphone to act on?!
